Performance

Below you will find several examples of my performances as well as some info on projects I am currently working on. I am currently available for flamenco guitar with percussion or solo. I hope to be developing this into a larger group watch this space.

I am also currently working with a band Reggae and Gospel band who have had a few gigs this year and an excellent singer Lisa Hendricks. Reggae is another of my loves and there is an song written by Earl "the man from the hills". Earl is now back in Jamaica but hopefully there will be some more of his songs to come soon.

I am available with bands, or as a solo musician, contact me if your interested!

First we have a Tangos "Rompeseros" by one of my favourite flamenco guitarists Moraito, an inspiration and huge influence on modern roots flamenco, he unfortunately died last year. I urge anyone interested to check out his music and that of his son Diego el Morao whose new album features Paco de Lucia, Diedo el Cigala and Moraito himself. I hope my version does his memory some justice and encourages others to take up this exiting and passionate musical form.

Next we have a Rhumba based on various sources, the Graff-Martinez flamenco tutor and Paco Pena's toques flamencos also played by Nittin Sawney amoung others. This is an excert from a recent gig at Antenna, Nottingham. Featuring Biant Sing Suwali on Tabla!

Now some reggae "On the Crest of a Wave" written by Earl Sanders (the Hillsman) a talented man with many great songs and a lovely warm feel. Performed by Brio (including yours truly)

Another great talent, musician, film maker and producer Pete Karkut. He ask me to put some guitar on this one, "the rain is the fire". Its weird very wierd, Pete breaks all the rules and follws no one, the band is called Wild Rail - keep it up Pete, we need someone to counteract Simon Cowell

The final one for the moment we have Lisa Hendricks, wonderful singer look out for her. We have been doing a few gigs this year and the band including Joe on bass, Del (my man) on drums and myself sporting dark sunglasses - one of the few occasions when the sun shone in Notts in 2012
